COVID-19 INFORMATION

The current entry and hygiene regulations apply for the time being within the context of the existing partial lockdown up to and including 30.11.2020.

 
 

Entry Regulations

In general, a quarantine period of 10 days is currently required when entering Germany from a risk area. This period can be reduced to 5 days if the Covid test result is negative, provided that no symptoms occur. If symptoms occur, a quarantine period of 14 days is required. In addition, a further Covid test must be carried out.

With regard to the quarantine requirement, the following exemptions exist for which no quarantine is required:

  • Stay of less than 24 hours in a risk area

  • Transit without a stay in Germany

  • Participation in international sport events or in official training measures in preparation for international sporting events

 

Excerpt from regulation in Bavaria on exemptions

 

For exceptions, which also concern professional and competitive sports, a negative Covid test must be presented upon entry into Germany, which must not be older than 48 hours (the time of the test swab being the reference point).

If no test is presented, a test can also be carried out upon entry into Germany. However, quarantine is obligatory until the test result is available.

The required test result can either be carried out via a PCR test or a rapid test (prerequisite < 80% sensitivity, < 97% specificity).

Corresponding excerpt from the ordinance in Bavaria according to the model ordinance of the Federal Government:

§ 5b (1) Confirmation in German or English by the testing party of a negative test result from a CE-certified and approved rapid antibody test is considered equivalent to the test result referred to in sentence 2.”

General

The current entry and hygiene regulations apply for the time being within the framework of the existing partial lockdown up to and including 30.11.2020.

General hygiene regulations

  • There is currently an obligation to cover your mouth and nose in many public areas. Please pay attention to any signpostings.

  • Contact with more than two different households in public areas is not permitted.

  • In general, a minimum distance of 1.5 meters is required and must be kept.

  • Stopping at places for tourist purposes is prohibited..

  • The signs regarding hygiene regulations at designated places and on the premises must be followed.

  • Failure to comply with hygiene regulations in Germany will result in heavy fines being imposed by the authorities.

 

Hygiene Concept Lotto Bayern Eisarena Koenigssee

General

The following rules apply at the sports facilities:

 

  • Regular hand hygiene/disinfection – Requirement to wear a mask on the entire premises, especially in closed rooms. (The obligation to wear a mask is lifted when practising sport).

  • Minimum distance 1.5 metres

  • All signs must be followed

  • Coughing and sneezing into the crook of the arm

  • No hugging or unnecessary physical contact

  • In case of general sickness, the person concerned is not allowed to enter the grounds

  • Auf dem gesamten Gelände gilt Einbahnstraßenregelung (den Beschilderungen ist Folge zu leisten)

Regulations

Access is only granted to athletes, supervisors, coaches and employees of the Lotto Bayern Eisarena. Spectators are excluded from all competitions.

 

Transport

  • The drivers are required to wear a mouth-nose mask

  • The minimum distance on the loading bridge of the bobsleigh transporters must be observed - A maximum of 5 persons including the driver are allowed in the transporter

 

Start houses/changing rooms (S1, S3, bobsleigh start and men's start)

  • The use of the changing rooms is to be reduced to a minimum for all

  • Only the marked seats may be used in the changing rooms

  • The specified number of persons for the respective rooms is noted on all doors

  • Athletes arrive at and leave the training area in training clothes

  • Hand and surface disinfection is available at all times

  • A minimum distance of 1.5 metres must be maintained in the starting houses (follow the signs)

  • Masks must be worn on the premises

  • Regular airing (approx. every 20 minutes) - Surface disinfection of the changing rooms (min. 2 x daily)

 

Buildings (VIP, finish building, workshop and functional building)

 

  • Hand disinfection is available at all times

  • A minimum distance of 1.5 metres must be maintained in the start buildings (follow the signs)

  • Masks are compulsory on the premises

  • Regular airing (approx. every 20 minutes)

  • The finish building may only be entered by one trainer/supervisor per team.

International Events

For the international competition events, the regulations set out in the hygiene concepts of the international federations IBSF and FIL apply.
